New Staff Member at SW

Jacob Hammack recently joined SW’s project planning team as an Engineering Technician. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a strong background in modeling, drafting and coding. In addition to playing an integral role in SW’s preliminary project assessments and feasibility studies, Jacob will support our company IT and plant operational oversight needs.

Jacob has a love for the outdoors and spent his childhood exploring the many opportunities in nature that Virginia has to offer. He has been interested in sustainable ways of living since high school, wind and solar energy being of particular interest. These interests led him to pursue engineering in college.

His hobbies include hiking, camping, fishing, playing disc golf, watching sports, playing board games with friends and spending time with family.

We welcome Jacob to the team!
