Jonathan Lanciani – Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan A. Lanciani is the CEO of Sustainable Water. Mr. Lanciani has over 20 years of experience within the industrial water industry, with specific focus on the District Energy, Automotive, Food & Beverage as well as the Commercial and Institutional sectors in North America. Mr. Lanciani has championed water conservation and water recycle opportunities throughout the duration of his career, and continues to serve as a consultant to higher education, industry and various non-profit organizations on developing and implementing sustainability programs.
Mr. Lanciani is a Co-Founder of Sustainable Water LLC, which has developed innovative, revolutionary wastewater treatment technologies to create engineered ecosystems with aesthetic appeal that efficiently treats waste water for reuse. The systems can be enclosed in a greenhouse and are ideal for any setting, industrial, rural or urban.
Jonathan and his team work intimately with engineers, business leaders, facilities managers, planners, university presidents, department leaders, sustainability coordinators, purchasing, housing officers and student affairs coordinators to promote sustainable operations, design, planning, education, purchasing and community collaboration. He is an active member of IDEA, WRA, SCUP, AASHE, Southface, and USGBC.
His career in water began with Betz, where he was responsible for intricate water management programs in a diverse end user market. Jonathan was the first multiple “Return on Environment” winner in Betz history, recognizing the most environmentally supportive water projects identified, implemented and economically validated. Prior to forming Sustainable Water, Jonathan was the Senior Director of Strategic Planning, Business Development and Marketing at ChemTreat, a $250 million water treatment company owned by Danaher Corporation. In this environment, Mr. Lanciani developed his passion for water conservation and recycle, helping global corporations and Institutions like Toyota, General Motors, Owens Illinois, Kraft Foods, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, International Paper, Dartmouth, MIT, Duke and Harvard.
Mr. Lanciani has B.S. Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point New York in Engineering.
Aaron Hollander – Co-founder, Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing and Chief Operations Officer for Sustainable Water, Aaron manages the day-to-day Operations of the firm as well as develops and drives implementation of the firm’s strategic marketing plan. Aaron has direct oversight for budgeting, staff management, project management and vendor license agreements.
Aaron Hollander is an entrepreneurial executive with over 15 years of experience in the optical communications technology field and has managed sales, marketing, operations and personnel functions. Prior to co-founding Sustainable Water, Aaron started his own company in 1994; Fiberoptic Alignment Solutions, Inc. and subsequently sold it to Uniphase Corporation. While at Uniphase, Aaron served as the General Manager of a division and led a team that created a critical technology for wavelength stabilization used in DWDM transmission, producing a revenue stream in excess of $30 million.
Most recently Aaron was the Director of Marketing and Business Strategy at JDS Uniphase for the Active Components and Transmission Systems Groups a $265 million/year group that included eight divisions worldwide. Aaron had a broad scope of responsibility including: strategic planning, business development, market analysis, product line road-mapping and rationalization, marketing communications and due diligence of acquisition/ merger candidates. Aaron was also successful at creating, recruiting, and managing a high-performance global executive market development team that was responsible for creating in excess of $50 million in new design win activity annually.
Aaron received his Bachelors of Science Engineering, from The Ohio State University.
Bob Salvatelli – Director of Sales
Bob Salvatelli is the Director of Sales for Sustainable Water Consultants. During his time at Sustainable Water, he has championed water conservation and water reuse opportunities across the United States in diverse market sectors such as: higher education, food and beverage, automotive manufacturing, governmental and airports. Bob is actively involved in the Sustainability Arena, with memberships at organizations like IDEA, WRA, SCUP, AASHE, Southface, and USGBC.
Prior to joining Sustainable Water, Bob was an executive in both the building products and construction industries, serving the institutional, industrial and commercial spaces. Bob has extensive experience in all phases of construction including estimation, preconstruction, procurement, project management and commissioning. Previously, Bob worked with companies like Home Depot and Walmart, specializing in store shell and fit out projects, and brought his expertise in retail store roll-outs to clients such as Sprint, Footlocker and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Bob received his Bachelors of Science in Management from Providence College.
